The heritage of Michigan’s maritime history is significant due to the Great Lakes and displays many nautical features including numerous lighthouses and light towers. Once the beacons of passage through the waterways, they are now becoming historical monuments, open to the public by private and municipal agencies, some converted to private residences.

The valuation of these historical landmarks is unique and
Anthony M. Piazza has the experience in the valuation of light houses and towers. Together with his real estate appraisal background, he is a member
of the Great Lakes Lighthouse Keepers’ Association, Friends of Tawas Point Lighthouse and the
Saginaw River Marine Historical Society and is a certified nautical archaeologist through the
Nautical Archaeology Society.
